I got great value for my money with an amazing ocean view suite that had three fireplaces, including one in the bathroom with a jacuzzi. The hotel's location on the cliffs overlooking the ocean was breathtaking, and the staff treated us with kindness and professionalism throughout our stay.
The breakfast option could have been improved by providing a full buffet or a wider range of menu choices without the need for additional purchases.

I recently stayed at the Hyatt in Carmel Highlands for a weekend getaway. The view from the hotel is absolutely breathtaking, stretching from Point Lobos to Yankee Point. The location is perfect for those who want to be away from the hustle and bustle of town. The staff was friendly and accommodating, providing us with a crib and baby goodies for my son. The breakfast was delicious, and the welcome drink was a pleasant surprise. a great stay.
While I do recommend this hotel, there are a few drawbacks to consider. The hotel is in need of some updates, particularly in terms of flooring, paint, and furnishings inside the suites.

Breathtaking view, excellent location. Complimentary valet service, attached restaurant, and helpful staff. All-natural toiletries. Spacious sunset patio. Beautiful landscape, though there are stairs.

Very good service and very good facilities. Beautiful location but outside Carmel.
Room was down 5 flights of stairs from the main building, not easy for a couple of retirees. Room had no view. When we arrived 2 external doors and 2 windows were unlatched. I then latched them. The next day, someone walked by our patio. He moved off quickly when he spotted me. Once we came back to the room and found the entry door ajar. Nothing missing but I was concerned.

We had an amazing time at this stunning hotel on the coast of California. The location was perfect, just a short drive from the closed Pt. Lobos State Reserve where we enjoyed seeing seals, sea otters, and deer during our hike. Our bi-level suite was clean and comfortable, with a utility kitchen for preparing meals. The lobby and restaurant area had breathtaking coastal highland views. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service, and the food at Pacific's Edge was delicious.
The only downside was that there was no direct beach access.

We stayed at Hyatt in Carmel for one night and it was a fantastic experience. The hotel is located in a stunning area with breathtaking views. Our two-floor suite was perfect for our family of four. The staff was attentive and helpful, and the overall grade I would give to this hotel is a solid A. The highlight of our stay was the unobstructed view from our top-floor ocean view room, especially during sunset. The view from the dining room was even more amazing. The room itself was amazing, and the added comfort of the fireplace made our stay even more enjoyable.
100% recommend this hotel.

I recently stayed at Hyatt Highlands Inn for a romantic getaway. The staff was incredibly friendly and the view from our room was breathtaking. The hotel is surrounded by beautiful landscaping and the lounge offers a spectacular view. The attention to detail in the rustic/elegant lobby and restaurant was impressive. We received excellent service from the front desk and the bellboys went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The responsive and helpful staff truly made our stay memorable.
Would be happy to recommend this hotel.

We had a lovely stay at Hyatt in Carmel Highlands. Our goal was a romantic getaway and we stayed for a week. The ocean view from our room was stunning, and the staff's friendly attitude made us feel welcomed. The highlight of our stay was definitely the fireplace in the room, preloaded with firewood. It added a cozy touch to our evening. The lobby also offered breathtaking views of the rocky coast and crashing waves. we were impressed with the location and view.

The spacious kitchen contains quality equipment. The comfortable bed guarantees a great night's sleep. The real fireplace adds a cozy touch. The location is convenient for nearby amenities. Having two bathrooms is a bonus.

Beautiful lodge area, short staff, no restaurant for lunch/dinner, disappointing burgers, good breakfasts, amazing cappuccinos, clean but outdated rooms, tree view, helpful front desk, stairs to rooms, won't return, nice stay. Lovely location, breathtaking views, good breakfast, welcome drink surprise, provided crib and baby goodies.
